Job Summary
The Director of Operations will provide strategic oversight and hands-on management to ensure full compliance with national and international aviation regulations. This role is pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of safety, security, and operational efficiency across all ADL-managed airports.
Educational Qualifications, Experience, & Skills Required
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management, or an Aviation-related field
- Bachelor’s Degree in one of the above disciplines.
- An additional aviation-related qualification from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of five (5) years of senior management experience, with demonstrable responsibility for operational strategy and execution.
- Proven expertise in managing large-scale design, construction, and airport maintenance programmes.
- Strong knowledge of project monitoring systems (scheduling, cost control, change management).
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to interface effectively with government agencies, tenants, and the public.
- Familiarity with procurement practices, construction regulations, and occupational health and safety legislation.
- Superior problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational abilities, with a high degree of initiative and creativity.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
