Job Summary

Reporting to the Project Coordinator, the Project Officer will support the implementation and monitoring of Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) project activities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement project activities in line with approved work plans and budgets
  • Support community mobilization and stakeholder engagement
  • Provide technical support to caregivers, teachers, and community structures
  • Monitor project progress and collect data for reporting
  • Prepare periodic reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and safeguarding standards

Educational Qualifications, Experience, & Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Development, Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in project implementation, preferably in ECCD or community development
  • Strong understanding of integrated early childhood development programming
  • Experience working with communities, NGOs, or development partners
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Willingness to work with people with mental health conditions
  • Commitment to the organization’s Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection Policy
