Job Summary
Reporting to the Programs Manager, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for the overall planning, implementation, coordination, and monitoring of the IECCD Project.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of project activities in line with approved work plans and budgets
- Coordinate with government departments, community stakeholders, and partner organizations
- Supervise project staff and provide technical guidance
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of narrative and financial reports
- Monitor project performance using established indicators and recommend improvements
- Facilitate community mobilization and participation in project activities
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements
Educational Qualifications, Experience, & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Social Work, Public Health, Development Studies, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage)
- Minimum of 4–5 years’ experience in project coordination or management, preferably in ECCD programmes
- Strong understanding of Early Childhood Care and Development frameworks
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and community-based programming
- Excellent reporting, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to work with people with mental health conditions
- Commitment to the organization’s Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection Policy
