Job Summary
Malawi Telecommunications Limited (MTL) invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced Malawian candidates to fill the vacant position of Office Assistant/Messenger tenable at its Head Office in Blantyre.

Reporting to the Human Resources Officer, the successful candidate will play a key role in providing administrative and logistical support to the company.
Key Responsibilities
The main duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
Distributing mail both internally and externally timely
Maintaining accurate records related to the receipt and delivery of packages, documents and other related items
Running company/official errands
Assist on the reception desk from time to time
Reproducing and binding documents
Maintaining motor vehicle logbook
Conducting clerical duties assigned from time to time
The successful candidate should have the following qualifications and attributes:
Certificate in Office Practice or business-related course
Must be a holder of MSCE
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must have at least 2 years of clerical and driving experience.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to understand and follow instructions.
Relate with people (people management skills).
Ability to maintain the safety and security of packages, documents, messages and other items received or being delivered.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.·Must be organized, efficient, and have a good attention to detail.
