Job Description

Unicaf University is currently seeking to recruit two qualified candidates for the positions below:

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement business plans and strategies to achieve organisational goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential leads, assess risks, and evaluate opportunities with partners, agents, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue new recruitment and partnership opportunities, including individuals, organisations, and educational institutions.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and other documentation for corporate clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Attend meetings, events, and other functions to represent Unicaf and promote its programmes to partners, agents, and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, agents, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor performance against targets and provide regular reports to HQ management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in Business Development, Sales, Recruitment, Partnerships, or a similar role, preferably within the education sector.
  • Proven ability to identify new business opportunities, develop strong partnerships, and consistently achieve targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, networking, organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Responsibilities:

  • Support recruitment and partnership activities to achieve business development targets.
  • Identify and follow up on new opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with agents and partners.
  • Promote Unicaf University through partner support, meetings, events, and regular performance monitoring.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and organisational skills.
  • Proactive and results-oriented, with the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities.

Location:

The positions are for the Unicaf University campus in Lilongwe, Malawi.
