Job Summary

SME Clinic on behalf of its client, a fully integrated multidisciplinary security and facilities management company, is recruiting Systems Technician.

The candidate should be a skilled and experienced CCTV, Systems & Alarm Technician able to install, maintain, and troubleshoot  electronic security systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the effective operation of CCTV systems, intrusion alarms, access control systems, and related technologies.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Install and service alarm systems (intrusion, panic buttons, electric fencing)
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of security systems
  • Diagnose and repair faults in CCTV, alarm, and access control systems
  • Configure remote viewing systems (mobile and desktop platforms)
  • Maintain system documentation, reports, and service logs
  • Provide technical support to clients and internal teams
  • Ensure all installations meet company and client standards
  • Support integration of security systems with monitoring/control rooms

Educational Qualifications, Experience, & Skills Required

  • Diploma or Certificate in  Electronics, ICT, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • At least 2–3 years’ experience in CCTV and alarm system installation
  • Strong knowledge of IP networking, DVRs/NVRs, and remote access systems
  • Experience with electric fencing and access control systems is an added advantage
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Good  communication and reporting skills
