Job Summary

Reporting to the Programs Manager, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for the overall planning, implementation, coordination, and monitoring of the IECCD Project.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of project activities in line with approved work plans and budgets
  • Coordinate with government departments, community stakeholders, and partner organizations
  • Supervise project staff and provide technical guidance
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of narrative and financial reports
  • Monitor project performance using established indicators and recommend improvements
  • Facilitate community mobilization and participation in project activities
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements

Educational Qualifications, Experience, & Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Social Work, Public  Health, Development Studies, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage)
  • Minimum of 4–5 years’ experience in project coordination or management, preferably in ECCD programmes
  • Strong understanding of Early Childhood Care and Development frameworks
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and community-based programming
  • Excellent reporting, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Willingness to work with people with mental health conditions
  • Commitment to the organization’s Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection Policy
